“I just want to get LEAN & TONE!” I am willing to bet most of us have said those words or something very similar! This is a bit of an over simplification but let me break it down like this.
LEAN = kitchen + cardio.
TONE = kitchen + strength training.
So no matter how much we try to get around it, what we eat and drink plays a big role in our LEAN & TONE dreams! So like many previous challenges we will focus on both diet and workouts! Load up on lean protein, fruit and veggies! Workout consistently! Rest to recharge! Focused and unstoppable for at least 6 out of 7 days each week! The goal is to average 90 points or higher! Everyone starts with a score of 68 each day. Earn points for each of the daily goals below. Lose points for eating goolosh (our term for unhealthy foods). Do everything right and you earn a perfect 100 for the day! Add in the bonus points and you can earn up to 106 points on a perfectly proper and hype day! Remember the goal is to finish with an average of 90 or higher to earn that A to win your shirt and a chance at other prizes!
plus 1 for every 15 minutes of exercise. 8 point MAX.
plus 1 for every 8 ounces of water. 8 point MAX.
plus 1 for every meal/snack including a serving of lean protein. 3 point MAX.
plus 1 for every meal/snack including a serving of healthy fruit. 2 point MAX.
plus 1 for every meal/snack including a serving of healthy veggies. 2 point MAX.
plus 1 for every hour of sleep. 9 point MAX.
minus 2 for each serving of goolosh (our term for unhealthy foods)
bonus: plus 1 for every 5 minutes of stretching. 3 point MAX.
bonus: plus 1 for every 5 minutes of abs/core. 3 point MAX.
